He's Here!!

Since I created this blog to announce that we were welcoming a new family member, it seems only fitting that I now get to announce his arrival!
Kaylix Nick Wilkinson was born on August 22 at 6:47 p.m. weighing in at 7lbs 3 ounces and was 20 inches long. It was a very short labor for me, which was very nice! He was born almost 4 weeks early and was still a good size baby. Which makes me grateful that he came early! This is Kaylix right after he was born
This is me and Kaylix!

The day that we were suppose to bring him home, they ran a car seat test on him and he failed it. His oxygen level kept dropping. So they would not allow him to come home. They discharged me and I went and sat in the Nursery with him all day.
This was the O2 monitor that he was hooked up to so they could keep an eye on him. Then my pediatrican called and told them to rerun the test that night, he passed it and we got to bring him home.

This is right before we left the hospital!
The day after we brought him home. He sleeps so sound and is sooo cute!
This is Keegan warming up to Kaylix, he still needs to learn how to be soft!
Riley and all the kids, man my family is growing!
The Boy's!!
Keegan loves to cheese for the camera!

We all love Kaylix sooo much. Whenever Keegan see's him, he crawls over to him and yells at him, he is still trying to figure all this out, but is also keeping his distance from me and Kaylix. But, today has been warming up to both of us. This is going to take some time for all of us to get used to, but we are all up to the challenge! And it is going to be a challenge! Wish me luck!

You now have more kids than me. Haha.
I can't believe how much hair he has too. I have bald babies.
Congrats! We really need to visit each other soon.
    You know where I live!
I wish you plenty of rest.
