Riley took all the kids and said that he had to go back to work to give something to his boss. He keeps calling me and telling me that he is going to be a little bit longer because of the snow that is falling right now, the roads are bad. I kind of have a feeling that he is out shopping for me a present. But, I am playing along with his game. Anyways, Riley's family puts out a family newsletter every month, and this month his aunt Verna put a list on her section of things that she wants. She stated, "these are not needs, but wants." I have been thinking about that since I read it a few weeks ago. There are so many things that I want, where do I start!
I really want to have a clean house. I think that my children need to be older and more helpful for that to happen though. Although I love my house, maybe a little bigger house with more storage would also help the situation.
I want Riley to have a job where he works real hours and is home more often to spend time with all of us. Right now, he is going to work at 2:00 am and getting off at noon. Sounds like he should have lots of time to spend with us right. Well, when he gets done with his naps and what not, theres not very many hours left before we are putting the kids in bed and he is going back to bed! It is taking its toll on him.
I want to win the lottery so Riley doesn't have to work at all and I can get the bigger house!!!
I want my children to be happy and content with their lives. I want them to know that they are loved more than anything in this world.
I want Riley to know how much I love him and I don't know what I would do without him to take care of me and tell me that I am loosing it all the time. (as if I don't know that)
I want to loose the few extra pounds that I am still sporting from having 2 kids in less than a year!
I want to go the temple more often then I do. Which brings me to another want, I want to have date nights with Riley, but again, the money and the hours issue come into play!!
I want to enjoy each and every second of my life and I want to be happier!
I want to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas!

Hey, I totally understand what you're going through. Maybe not the hours that Jake works but everything else.
ReplyDeleteI am doing a little work from home with a company called Arbonne. I don't know if you have interest but I am making only about $60 a month right now but that's better than nothing. Anyway, you should check it out and see if it would be a fit for you and your family or not. Email me if you want to: thinkarbonne@yahoo.com
It is a network marketing company, which I have been so against until I learned about Arbonne.
Just so you know!
Have a Merry Christmas! We are heading to So. Cal on the 27th for a little while. Warmth!
