Holy Moly

A whole month has passed since the last time I posted. Where has the time gone, there has been so much going on, and just not much time for the computer! I won't bore you with all the details, just know, lots of Softball, PTA, Meetings, Kids, Homework, Practices, and more has been happening the last month!

Kaylix likes to think that he is a big boy, and can do a lot of things for himself. The other night, he got himself in the bath. He did not want my help!

He was so proud of himself, and saw nothing wrong with what he had done! He is so funny!

Chelsey has finally played her last softball game for this year! We went to Mesquite for their last tournament. If nothing else, Chelsey had a lot of fun being in a hotel with all her friends!!!!! The girls played hard, but they lost their first 3 games. We went the next morning to play the 4th and what we thought would be their last game, but they won! They played the same team the night before and lost 16 to 2. This time they won 4 to 3. It was like 2 totally different teams. So they got a chance to play again, against the Hot Shots, and they lost. So that was the last game of their season.

Chelsey and Riley have been practicing a lot on her Pitching, she really has wanted a chance to pitch all season. Finally at the tourney, she got a chance, she did really well for it being her first time pitching to a batter and with a crowd watching!!!

We were very proud of her! Her coaches were pretty impressed too!

Just because it is October and that is the same time last year when all the sickness started coming into our home, Kaylix and Keegan have been batteling the Croup. Kaylix kicked his pretty quickly, Keegan however is still hanging onto it. I am hoping that this is not the start of what is to come for the rest of the winter. If it is, someone just find me a bubble or a chamber that I can put them both in to keep them healthy.

  1. How cute, I love it when they feel so grown up and independent!
