Chelsey started her All Star Tournament on Saturday. She had 2 games. The teams that they played were tough! The other teams were both from West Valley, and the gossip floating around the stands is that they have played together for a few years and also play accelerated ball, which basically means these girls play year round! The coach's were giving their girls signals on how to hit the ball and stuff, our team is lucky if they hit the ball, let alone having someone tell them how to hit it!!! This is the first year that most of the girls on Chelsey's team have played All Stars, so this is all new to them, they held their own though! The scores of 2 games were 17 - 1 and 12 - 2 the lower score being ours! But, the same team that scored 12 on us, scored 21 on the "A Team" of T-Ville! So we were proud that the "B Team" did better! It was a hot, stressful day, but so much fun too!
This is her 1st game!
This is her 1st game!
This is her 2nd game
Swing batter, batter!
She did a really good job! The night before, she had a hard time sleeping, she kept telling me that her "tummy felt nervous." I told her just have fun and play your hardest and the best you can and thats all that matters. So, she did and she had fun!
Kaylix was trying so hard to get this bat, through the fence, he really wanted to play ball!
On Friday, Brenda and Paige took Chelsey, Corbin and Keegan to a Radio Disney Party that they had at the Gallivan Center Plaza, I staid home to give Kaylix a nap, and to get my house ready for Bev, to come and stay with us, there was a lot of work to be done! I was really sad that I missed the party, it looks like they had a lot of fun!
The other morning, I made muffins for breakfast, Corbin wanted to decorate the left overs like cupcakes, so I let them, look what a good job Keegan did!
After he dumped them all, he took a handful of the sprinkles, shoved them in his mouth, then choked on them and threw up, all in a days worth of fun!
