Oh, Poor Baby . . .

I say this for a few reasons! First, we were sick of the cold, so we packed up and headed south for the winter! We went to Arizona to escape the cold, and escape we did! It was so nice there, Keegan kept wanting to put his jacket on before we went anywhere, but I kept telling him we didn't have to, it was warm enough without one! We left Tuesday Jan 30 and went to St. George, then we went the rest of the way on Wednesday. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Wilkinson for letting us use your Luxury Resort once again! We got to Arizona just in time to go to Bounce U. We all had a blast!

And then there was swimming, almost every day!

Kaylix was doing anything he could to get into Grandma & Grandpas pool, but it really wasn't very warm. So we went to the Club House pool, and it is heated to a nice temperature, but he did not want to be in that pool. Crazy kid, he would rather freeze I guess!

So, see what I mean poor us for having to go and spend time on the warm weather!
We had a lot of fun visiting with everyone. We did a lot of fun things, I actually got to have a girls night out! We went to Auburn's baby shower, and then to dinner and then to see Chris and Auburn's new house, it was so much fun! We took family pictures and just hung out and enjoyed ourselves. One of the main reasons that we went to Arizona was to go to the Fiesta Bowl, we ended up not getting tickets, but it was still worth the vacation!
We were so sad to come home. We did not want to come back to the cold snow and the mess that is still in my house from Christmas and the kids did not want to go back to school, there was a lot of stuff that we did not want to do!
Here is the other poor baby. While in Arizona, Keegan started to get sick. We tried to stop it before it got to bad, but that did not happen. Not only that, but he shared it with Kaylix. Poor Kaylix was soooo sick. On Thursday, he spent the whole day just not with the world! He slept the whole day, he could not keep his eyes open for anything. He would wake up long enough to cough, throw up and then lay his head right back down and go right back to sleep, plus he had a fever. I was so worried about him. I always watch things for a day or 2 before calling my Dr. because they always say give it a day or 2! He slept most of the next day too, but was a little more with it. He is doing much better now, but the poor baby was sooo sick. Keegan is also doing much better, they both just have runny noses today. Needless to say though, there was no Nursery today, we didn't want to share with all the other kids! And sorry to all those in Arizona, we hope that he caught it from one of you and not shared it with one of you!
We really love that we have family some place warm to go and visit while it is freezing cold here in Utah. Thanks for all the fun!

Poor sick boys! No sickness here other than Kenyon with a runny nose. Doesn't it seem like there is always something?! :)

  2. I was wondering what happened to you guys and now after reading your blog I'm surprised you came back. Wow, what fun and what a wonderful place to be in the winter! However, I have heard summers are a bit warm in Arizona...maybe it's worth it to have mild winters. Well, I'm so glad you had a wonderful trip and hope you are all feeling well!
