There have been 2 trips to the zoo. My parents gave us passes for Christmas, we plan on getting their moneys worth out of them this summer!
We got to see the baby giraffe before it died.
We also got passes to the aquarium, which is also a lot of fun to visit. We went to see the new penguins, they are so fun to watch! The kids all had to see how they measured up, but Chelsey would not stand there for a picture, she thinks she is to cool some times!
Also, softball/baseball season is in full swing. The kids started practice the end of March and have played a few games. Riley and Jason are coaching the boys again this year. They are the Angels this year and have moved up to the next level. The AA league. They are doing awesome! Corbin has been assigned the position of catcher, he is the best! I love that kid so much, he is so determined and tries so hard at everything he does. I don't have pictures of him yet, I get to caught up in watching the game some times that I forget to get my camera out!
Chelsey is also playing up the next level of softball. She is playing 10 & Under this year. She is doing awesome too. This year has been a little interesting. Her team has quite a few girls who have never played before, that seems really weird to me, but its true. I think that at this age and level, all the girls should be good players with experienced, but, no. Anyways, Chelsey has been playing catcher also. She does Awesome to! Her friend Krystal is the pitcher and she is the catcher, they make quite the team!
When Krystal has pitched as much as she can, then they send Chelsey in there as the pitcher. She has been practicing, and is doing pretty good at it! She was able to pitch at their game on Saturday, and she only hit 2 girls!!!
She also got her first HOMERUN on Saturday. The 3rd base coach was telling her to stop there, but she said she saw where the ball was and knew she could make it home, so she went! She was so excited, and I was really excited for her to. She is awesome, and I love her lots!
Keegan is also playing ball this year! He will play T-Ball with the Rattlers, and his first game will be on Saturday. I can't wait, and neither can he, he is soooo excited to play! He does pretty good! So, we have 3 kids playing ball this year. When I look at my calendar, sometimes I want to cry! We are already at the ball field with Chelsey and Corbin almost every night, now we are going to add Keegan into the mix. But we are having a lot of fun!
Kaylix is still to young for ball, but just wait until next year, then we will have all 4 kids playing. Luckily we can get Keegan and Kaylix on the same team, so that shouldn't add too much more chaos to our lives!
Hooray for Ball, and for all the craziness that it brings with it!
I have more pictures to post of things, but it is taking forever to load the pictures and I am running out of patience with it, so I will have to put them up later, when we can get our Internet up and working again!
You can keep an eye, if you want, on Riley and Corbins scores at
