It's Winter

In between conference sessions, we decided to go for a ride. We went up Big Cottonwood Canyon hoping to see the leaves changing colors. Instead we saw lots and lots of the white stuff! It was so crazy! This is Chelsey and Riley and Keegan at Silver Lake up by Brighton. It was so pretty here.
There is a trail at Silver Lake that the kids and I walked this summer, so Chelsey is standing on the now snow covered trail.
This is still up by Silver Lake. We were wishing that we had come more prepared and we would have walked the trail.
The higher you went the more snow there was!
There were a lot of people up there Snow Boarding, does that tell you how much snow was there!

This was more towards the bottom of the canyon, there was snow, but not as much snow and the kids wanted to go throw rocks in the water.

We let the kids throw their rocks, but it was still soooo cold. We had only taken jackets up there and were wishing that we had our coats and gloves! But we still had a really good time. We know that all you people in Arizona are jealous! We know it is just a short time before it actually starts coming and sticking in the valley. We hope that it waits a little bit longer though. We are not ready for the snow to come yet. Corbin saw the snow and said, "it is Christmas up here". Riley said no, not for a long time, but really, even that is coming up soon. Oh, I am getting a headache just thinking about it, I better take some Tylenol and go to bed!!! After I feed Kaylix clean the kitchen and the front room and my room and fold the laundry and get ready for bed of course!
