Big Week!!

Starting last Saturday, my week has been action packed!! In fact, I got in trouble because my week has been so full. On Saturday, Riley's parents took me out to dinner for my 30 birthday! We went to a really nice restaurant and ate a lot of good food. Thanks again for that!! Then on Sunday we blessed Kaylix and had friends and family over to my parents house afterwards for lunch. We didn't want to have them all at our house because remember our big mess in the basement, well, Riley's three weeks has come and gone, and it is still a big mess! Anyways, then Monday was my birthday, and as I said, I turned the big 30. I thought that I might have a hard time turning 30, but then I decided that I have earned that age and every little line that I have on my face as a result!!!! I'm not sure if its the age or the kids!!! Riley and I went out to dinner on Monday while his mom watched our kids for us. Then on Tuesday, I had to go and do PTA stuff. I am the PTA Secretary!!! And our friend came over and helped Riley with our basement that night (he is working on it!) Then on Wednesday we got to visit with Grandma and Grandpa Mitchell as they were passing through town on their way to Arizona for the winter. It's always fun to see them. My family also had a birthday party for me. I appreciate having a family that loves me and likes to spend lots of time together. We all have such a good time when we are all together. Today has been a little more relaxed. I was able to get some laundry and some house cleaning done. Now, I am hurrying to do this while Riley is bathing the kids so we can get them to bed! This is the kids after Kaylix's blessing, aren't they adorable!

My mom, my sister Brenda, my Aunt Debby and my cousin Paige decorated my front yard for me!
I love them for wanting everyone to know how old I am!!!
I left it up the whole day!
Oh yeah, the best thing that I got for my birthday was PINK EYE. I have never had pink eye before, and I got it this week. I don't know how or where, none of my kids have it and no one that I know has it, but it is irritating. This morning my eye was swollen shut, so I finally went to the Dr. after it has been red and sore for the last 3 days. He gave me some eye drops and told me not to share the infection with my kids. So when I filled the prescription, I also bought a ton of hand sanitizer!
Happy Birthday to me!!
