Andreas says: Job's I've had:
When I turned 15 I went to work for my dad at his dealership, Salt Lake Valley GMC. I worked there until I was 19 then I went to work for Riley's dad at GW Electric. I then went back to work for my dad, I was his admin assistant and receptionist. I had a lot of good friends there and was very sad to leave when I went to work for jetBlue. But, I needed a change and a different opportunity! We loved the flight benefits, but I left it to watch my sisters kids. After she quite her job, I was done with outside jobs and committed myself 110% to the best full time job of being a mom!
Movie that I have watched over and over:
pathetic as it is, the one that I have watched most recently is High School Musical. Not only do my kids love it, but I do too! My other faves are Dirty Dancing, Pretty Woman, Grease, and Cars.
Some Favorite books:
I am not much of a reader, in fact I don't know that I have read a whole book since high school. Lately the books that I read have a lot of pictures and short easy words! The best thing is now Chelsey is starting to read them to me!!
Favorite things to do:
I love to try and be creative! I like to make things for my house and for other people. My new quest is, my sister has her own business called Vinyl Details. She does vinyl letters, I have started cutting her wood things and making them cute for a little extra money! I also like to cook fun things, not dinner, it always seems to be to hard of a task lately! But my very most favorite thing to do is spend time with my family! My kids are the best and they crack me up, so I like to spend as much time with them as possible.
Places I have lived:
I am a huge homebody. I like to be close to my family. Nay, I love to be close to my family, I rely on them a ton, so I have never lived anywhere but Salt Lake.
Things I like to eat:
pretty much anything with CHOCOLATE! Cheesecake, especially Cheesecake Factory's KeyLime. It's the best. Pizza, chicken, taco's, potstickers, and whatever else I can find in my fridge, its usually pretty empty!
Places I'd rather be:
Somedays, I'd like to anywhere else but where I am! I really like to take vacations! My family loves to go to Disneyland. And Newport Beach California. I think if I was to move anywhere, California would be my first choice!
Words I love the sound of:
"Honey, I'm home"
Riley works so hard and very long hard hours, so these words are music to mine and my kids ears. A few weeks ago, my kids went 3 days without seeing Riley. It was hard on all of us, but we survived!
I love you! Thank you! My mom lately tells me she doesn't know how I do all the things that I do. After she watches my kids for a little while, she says she is amazed by me! And I love to hear that because some days I feel like I work so hard and accomplish nothing. The best is to hear Chelsey and Corbin at night saying good night! A moment of silence and time!
Dana's and Britany's ask for facts about you. I tried to give some above, but here are some more!!!
- I try to give 100% at everything I do, failure is not an option.
- In the last 7 years I have been pregnant 5 times. We lost a baby in 2004 at 20 weeks. We did bury him and had a very hard time with it. After we lost him, we decided not to have any more kids. But someone else had a different plan for us! We had Chelsey and Corbin close, 16 months apart and then Keegan 4 years later and Kaylix 11 months later. All of my children have been surprises! But great surprises and I love them all!
- My family is my world. By family I mean my kids, my husband, parents, my brother and sisters, brothers and sisters in law and my aunts, uncles, cousins, grandmas, everyone! I don't know what I would do without my family! My little sister and I are great friends and I have the best time with her. She is so fun. At Kaylix's blessing she had us all making faces and she was taking pictures of it, we had to fill our cheeks with air and blow it out blowing our lips up big huge, then she would take a picture, I recommend doing it, it is hilarious!!!
- I am trying to remember to have patience! I am hoping that in posting this for everyone to read, I might be better at it. Don't get me wrong I am not a fly off the handle type person, but I have so much going on in my life right now, that I have to take the time to chill.
- I need to remember that it is ok if my house is a mess, I need that time to spend with my kids, not cleaning! I also need to find a better way to have my kids help me clean up messes so that I don't have to spend so much time cleaning!
Ok, this is long enough, and I am sure that I have bored you all enough!
I don't know who to tag back, so I will also take Britany's approach, if you read this and you have not been tagged in a while, consider yourself tagged and get to work on these questions!!!
thanks tricia. I now know a little more about you by reading this.
ReplyDeleteI always thought you were patient and super creative. I saw the creativity come out when we were in Primary together.
I need to remember its ok to have a messy house too. Right now it bugs the you know what out of me.
