My Ramblings!

So, I have been really lax lately with taking pictures, both Chelsey and Corbin have had games that I have forgotten to take the camera to. Most of the time I am just lucky that we are all there and that they have their bat bags and uniform on and shoes tied! Chels gets out of school at 3:45 and we have to be at the ball field by 5:00, I know it sounds easy, but by the time we get ready, get snacks, get everything and everyone in the car, we are pushing it! But, as Riley likes to remind me, I am late for everything! Chelsey and Corbin have both been playing really well. Although Riley thought he would help Chelsey out with her swing so she could hit it further, but it turns out, it just made it so she doesn't hit at all! So, she went back to her old swing! She is also doing really well in school. A little while ago, I was worried about her reading skills. She told me that she hated to read and would fight me all the time when she had to read. But she loves math, so I explained to her that if she doesn't know how to read, then won't be able to do math, they have to work together. So she started working harder on her reading and is doing awesome! Corbin also is very smart! He is the youngest kid in his class, but his teachers tells me he is the smartest and ahead of most kids in the class!! I am so proud of both of them!

Keegan, he is a crazy kid! I took him and Kaylix to the Dr on Monday for Keegans 18 month checkup and Kaylixs 9 month checkup. Keegan is a big solid kid, he is in the 97% for his height and weight, but only the 15% for his head, we have small heads in our family, but big brains! Kaylix is the size of an average 15 month old. He is also in the 97% for his height, the 75% for his weight and the 10% for his head! Keegans favorite word is "yeah". Anything you ask him, he says yeah. Like you can say "Keegan can you say dog" and he says "yeah", but doesn't say dog! I know, be grateful that he says 'yeah' and not 'no'. He does say 'gog' for dog, 'e e' for binkey, blankey, chelsey, corby, anything else that is 'ee'. He says mum and even calls Riley mum. He won't say dad! He calls Brenda and my mom 'mum' too! The only long word the he says is Grandpa. He sure loves my dad and as soon as we get to their house he has to run and find grandpa, if you ask Keegan where grandpa is, he says "outside". He is silly! There are other words that he says, but these are the best!
Kaylix is a wholly terror! He is into everything and keeps me very busy! The Dr. was very impressed that he can pull himself up on things and that he is so stable! I told him I just have very impressive kids! Kaylix was there for his 9 month checkup, but is not 9 mo yet, he will be tomorrow! When he was born the Dr told me because he was 1 month early, he could hit milestones later than most, but, he is ahead of the game!! But then, he has older brothers and a sister that play with him a lot and he try's so hard to keep up with them when they are running around. It's so fun to watch all the kids play together so nicely!
I read on Melissa's post that elf's favorite place is the bathroom, I have to say that is also Kaylix's favorite place. I can't figure it out, what is so cool about the bathroom? He loves to take baths, so maybe he goes in there hoping to get in the bath! Who knows!
There is an old Sesame Street Book called "The Monster at the End of the Book" we used to love this book when we were little. But, I like to call my 3 boys the monsters at the front, the middle and the end of the book, they have it all covered! Chelsey is just the monster of the whole entire book! I was at Chelsey's softball practice last night, and after talking to other mom's it makes me feel much better that it is not just Chelsey, it seems like she is normal for girls her age!
I have also still been keeping busy with the PTA and trying to get all the end of year things done. And working on things for next year! We are going to be in the Taylorsville Dayzz parade on June 28, the same day as the family party, so anyone who wants to come and watch us, it should be fun! It is a very fun parade!
Well, that is a good long update, Corbin has a game tonight if it stops raining! It was 94 degrees yesterday, it dropped 30 degrees today and has been very wet! I am almost hoping there is no game because it is cold and wet. I will let ya know!
