This month is such a special one . . .

It's birthday time for CHELSEY!!!!

As if she doesn't already look grown up enough, we started off by getting her hair cut, and it is sooooooooo cute!

Chelsey turned 8 years old today. I cannot believe that she is getting so old!! Or maybe it's that it makes me feel like I am getting so old!!! I love my Chelsey bug so much! She is 8 going on 16! She can be the best of friends or the worst of enemies with everyone in this house! That keeps us all on our toes! But she is the first person to offer help whenever it is needed. She has a big heart and loves to make other people happy!

She loves to have lots of friends, so we started her birthday off with a kind of small little party. I told her she could invite 5 friends over to watch High School Musical 3 and have pizza. They were out of school on Friday, so it was an afternoon party and it was perfect. 3 girls came, and they had a lot of fun!

She got some fun things from her friends! They are all a fun group of girls! Even though there is always girl drama everyday when she comes home from school, because this person didn't want to play with her and this person doesn't like this person but she likes that person, ya know, the usual girl stuff!

Then on Saturday, we had a party with my family! It was a lot of fun too! She wanted to have a Hawaiian Party. So everyone dressed up in their best Hawaiian attire and came to party down! Chelsey is one spoiled little girl!

Chelsey got a little embarrassed while we were singing our families famous rendition of "Happy Birthday"!




When we asked her what she wanted for her Birthday, all she told us was a bike! So she got a new bigger bike! It is a "bad girls bike" she says! I will have to take pictures and post tomorrow. Brenda did an extreme home makeover on Chelsey's room for her birthday, so I will take pictures of that also, it is so fun!

Chelsey is growing up so fast and is such a fun, amazing person. Now, she is really looking forward to being baptised next month. What an exciting milestone for her. And to think, it is only the beginning of milestones to come!
