A quick update on Kaylix's hand, we went back to the burn unit last week. His hand is doing well! They are concerned about a few areas though and the scaring that is happening. So, they gave him a silicone splint that he has to sleep in, I guess that silicone is good for scaring, who knew! Then they ordered him a compression glove that they had to special order, so it will be here in 3 weeks. So, we will go back after memorial day and hope for the best during that time!
Just to gross you all out, this is Kaylix's hand before all the blisters popped! The whole palm and the tip of each finger, plus his whole thumb!

This is a rash that Corbin developed that covered his whole body, during which he also had Strep throat and an ear infection and neither of those 2 things caused the rash, it was an unrelated rash. Just because it was different, he got it!

Even I am getting tired of reading about all the sickness in my house, so I decided that I am done writing about it! Just know that at any given moment, there is someone sick in my house!
So, what else has been happening with us, well, a lot actually! There have been softball and baseball games galore! There has been practice almost every night of the week between the 2 kids and lots of late nights trying to get everything done after practice! Crazy, I know, but we love it!
Chelsey, the batting queen! At practice, they play a hitting game, who ever is the last one standing after hitting off only one throw, they are the "batting queen" Chelsey was the champion, twice!

She still loves to catch. Because her team is the "bad news bears", her coach uses her a lot in the field because she can catch and make the throws, so she gets really excited when she gets to catch!

And Corbin, if only the coach could make a few good throws, then their team would be doing better!!! I keep trying to tell Riley to make those throws so the kids can hit, but he just struggles!!!! (love ya)

Last week was teacher appreciation week, and I was in charge of it again! We had a lot of fun, on Monday, I put together an assembly and had all the teachers play "Are you smarter than a 5th grader" We had a panel of 5th grade students for the teachers to play with, it was a lot of fun, all the kids were cheering and the teachers were laughing and enjoying themselves, what more could you ask for!?! Then on Thursday, I had Souper Salad cater a lunch for them, and on Friday we had a banana split party! Tuesday and Wednesday, they got little gifts in their boxes! I had fun doing it all, but next year, I am going to let someone else be in charge, I have done it the last 2 years and it is a lot of work!
Keegan and Kaylix, they are just glad it is finally nice weather outside, we spend a lot of time outside, especially on the tramp!
Keegan being silly!
Keegan and Kaylix both enjoyed their Spaghetti O's for lunch today!!!

Silly kids, all of them, but I sure do love them all!
