Kaylix's Burn

We went to the Burn Unit today at the University Hospital. They looked at Kaylix's hand, and because there is still a portion of it that is healing, they said there is still little they can do until it all heals. They said that they like things to be healed by around 2 weeks for things to look good. Today, it has been 3 weeks since he burned his hand, so things may not be looking so good! They showed me some hand exercises to do to stretch his fingers and his palm and to try and break down the scaring that has happened so far. Also to rub it with ointment a lot to help with all the dead skin that is on it. They gave me a glove to put on it instead of wrapping it since that is most likely what is causing the scaring. Then we are going back next week to see if it is healed more and what the next step is from there. I am hoping for the best!
