General Hospital . . . Take 2

Keegan was not getting any better. He was still wheezing and coughing and congested and throwing up and not sleeping.
Chelsey was again complaining of a headache and a sore throat and an upset stomach.
I called the Dr. back yesterday and told him that they were both sick still and again and I needed them better so we can get on a plane on Friday and head to Arizona! Who wants to take sick kids on a plane and on vacation right!!!
Our own Dr. was unable to see us, so we saw a different Dr. He looked at Chelsey's tonsils and throat, swabbed them again, and she has strep, AGAIN. I don't think that it totally cleared up the first time with the bubble gum medicine, so he gave us a heavy duty antibiotic to knock it out of her system, hope it works!
Keegan, I guess that our Dr. gave him the antibiotic because he was worried about Pneumonia, but Keegan wasn't getting any better, and I was growing impatient! This Dr. listened to his lungs again, gave him another breathing treatment, and again, there was no change in his breathing. He sent us to have a chest X-ray done. Keegan is getting so good at going to Hospitals and getting things done to him! They called me back a little later and said that he has Bronchitis. So, we are now the proud owners of a nebulizer that we are using for breathing treatments for Keegan every 4 hours. It takes 15-20 minutes per treatment, and he does not really like to sit there and do it, but I am forcing him so that we can get this crap over and done with. He is also taking a steroid to open his lungs up and get him breathing normal again.

So, the saga continues with General Hospital, but I am determined that this is going to be the end of it! I went and bought some Vitamin C for the kids and I am thinking about just keeping them ALL on Cold Medicine, to stop what ever else they may get, from even coming!

Here are the sickies!

Then since it is letting me post pictures, I will add the pictures that I have been trying to for a while now! When we were in Arizona in January, we had family pictures taken, they turned out really cute, so here they are!

  3. I hesitated to blog about the sickness here because you guys have had it worse! No fun! I'm sorry! Our RS president actually asked my visiting teacher if we had "lost" the baby we adopted because he hasn't been to church for so long! Just seems like it is one thing after another! I hope you guys get feeling better and have fun in Arizona! I bet the warm weather will do wonders for you guys!
