- I did not spend enough time relaxing on the beach, therefore, I did not get rid of my farmers tan!
- Riley did not eat 6 corn dogs . . . for every meal!
- None of us got sunburned, well, actually Chelsey got her back a little toasted on the last day there, but not to bad!
- I did not loose weight while feasting on Ice Cream and frozen cheese cake . . . every night before bed!
Friday:
We headed out and staid in St. George at the Wilkinson 5 star Hotel, thanks Grandma and Grandpa Wilkinson for letting us stay at your luxury resort!
Saturday:
Don't kid yourself, driving to California with 2 kids under 2, is no picnic!
Luckily, this one slept!
Corbin was just happy to be going on vacation!
We did arrive at the beach, the kids all love it!! Even Kaylix, I was a little worried!
Every time a wave would come, Keegan would run and stand on the boogie board, like it was going to save him from the big bad waves!
This year, Corbin loved Boogie Boarding!
Chris and Brooke are so cute with my kids!
Riley and the kids enjoyed the waves!
Sunday:
We decided that since we don't do the beach on Sunday, we would go to Disneyland! We were quite the crowd! There was 17 of us there. It was a lot of fun! But, I did not take any pictures while we were there, I think that there were so many of us and we just tried to keep moving, so no time to stop and take pictures! Also on Sunday, since Corbin's birthday was on Monday, we wanted to eat with the characters, it turns out though that the characters only eat breakfast with you, so we ate dinner alone!
They did sing to Corbin and bring him a dessert! He was so embarrassed!
Keegan apparently liked the bread they served!
Yes, they are crazy, but I still love them!
Kaylix was just happy to be there!
Keegan found this rock wall to lounge on outside the restaurant, he was so tired!
Monday:
We beach it!
Every year, the kids ask Chris to bury them . . .
and every year he does!
Yes, my child is out on the beach with just his diaper on, if Grandpa was ok with it, so was I!!
And, it was Corbin's Birthday, so we partied!
Just some of the fun things he got!
My Buddy turned 6 years old, wow, where has the time gone, isn't he handsome! He is going to be a heart breaker when he starts thinking girls are cool!
Tuesday:
We loaded up 18 of us on bikes, and rode to Huntington Beach! Now, Huntington Beach is not just, oh I think I will ride my bike for a few minutes and go to another beach, it is a long ride. Chelsey, Corbin, and Jordan all rode their own bikes, and they were such troopers! When we got there, there was plenty of shopping to be done! While we were fulfilling our shopping pleasures, there was an earthquake! We all just stood there looking at each other not knowing what to do or really what was happening! But, no one else around us went into panic mode, so neither did we! Then we headed home, that night, my legs hurt so bad, I wanted to puke!
Wednesday: (Half way there, I hope your not bored!)
The adults (minus my mom, dad, Debby, and Chad, because they were the babysitters!) went to see a live taping of
It was great, but it took a very long time! We left the condo at 6:30 am and got back at 3:15 pm It took 4 1/2 hours to tape a 1 hour show, but it was so worth it! Jen won a free shirt, we got chocolate and we were the first ones in line, so we got to sit right behind the contestant, when it airs, we will be seen on tv by millions!!! The player, he rode it all the way, he stuck it out for his case, it came down to $1.00 and $1 million, he lost, he got the dollar! But we clapped and hollered like there was no tomorrow!
After we got home, we did get to take a trip to
Corbin was sitting on the arm of the couch and some how, fell off, he hit his face on the edge of this table
And he did this to his face
Because of the way it was torn, they glued him back together!
Thursday:
We went back to Disneyland! This time there was 20 of us, so once again, no pictures! It was a little bit of a rough trip to Disney! Corbin did not feel well because his nose, Keegan and Kaylix were tired and Riley was not happy because of all these other factors. So, we ate lunch, and our family, minus Chelsey, my mom, dad, Debby and Chad all left! Chelsey got to stay and spend more time with her favorite people! She was so brave and rode the big Roller Coaster in California Adventure! That is a big step for her, peer pressure! And she rode Pirates, which after an incident when she was about 2 she has not liked! So, it was a big day for her!
Friday:
It was our last day at the beach, and we made the best of it!
Corbin couldn't stay out at the beach for very long because he couldn't get his nose wet, or full of sand, he was sad!
Devin had a sand crab!
Isn't she funny!
We had such a good time, Chelsey was very lucky she got to ride there and back with my mom, dad, Ty and Jen, that just made her whole vacation that she got to spend so much time with Ty and Jen! She has cried every night as I put her to bed because she misses them and she loves them so much and she doesn't understand why they had to leave, (I know guys, it breaks my heart too!) But, I remind her how lucky she was to spend the whole vacation with them. In fact, when we got home, I told her I had missed her this vacation, she spent more time with Ty and Jen then she did with me! But I am glad that she did! I told her I could send her to live with Ty and Jen if she wanted, but she said "they work to much I wouldn't really get to see them."
Saturday:
We packed up and left the beautiful beach! And we once again staid at the Wilkinson Hotel! Thanks again guys, it is so nice to have a stopping point!!!
Sunday:
We made it back home, all in one piece. Some a little battered, and bruised, but all in one piece!
I have to check some pictures on some family members cameras, so I might be back with more!!!
I am so jealous, I miss Newport So much and can't wait until I get to go next year. I miss the good old days when we were the kids and our parents were the ones with all the worries and chasin us around. Those were the good old days. It is fun to see you and your family. they are all adoreable!
