Yeah!!!! We made it through the first week of school. Now only, well, I'm not sure how many more weeks, but there are 175 more days of school!!!!! The first day of school, both the kids got out of the car, and barely looked back! The second day of school was great too! The third day of school, Corbin had a little melt down, he didn't want to go to school. He misses me, and doesn't want to go, it is so long and boring to be at school all day. I walked him into his class, gave him a kiss and told him goodbye! The next day was fine, and Friday we had another melt down. I hope next week will go better for him! He has a little boy in his class that has been sent to the principals office everyday. I think that stresses Corbin out! But, both Chelsey and Corbin love their teachers and their classes, they both have a lot of friends in their classes. Last year, Chelsey's first week of school was rough, she hated it and everything about it. This year, so far, she has come home with a smile on her face every day and we have not had to fight to get ready in the morning because she is excited to go! I am going to be soooooo happy if it stays like this for the rest of the year!

Tricia, so glad I checked your blog today. Joshua had a melt down on Friday too and it totally caught me off guard, he misses me, school is boring, etc. I hope the long weekend will help him (and his teacher) forget. First grade is a big adjustment for the kids, so far I love it. ;)
