Extra Extra

Long post!!!
The other night Riley told me that all I do ALL night is sit on the computer, so, sensing that he was feeling neglected, I have not been posting things, but now I have a lot of catching up to do! Since my days are mostly filled with running around and filling this duty and that duty, night time is the only time I have to myself to look at the computer. But, here I am because Kaylix is taking his nap and Keegan is on my bed watching Elmo and trying to fall asleep, so instead of conquering the mountain of chores I have, I am here!
So, lets get started!
Keegan has figured out how to take pictures with my camera, I usually don't let him play with my camera, since my last one diappeared after he played with it! But, he got it the other day, here are a few pictures that he took!

Chelsey has started Fall Ball. When we were asked to have her play, it was when she was in All Stars and they were going to put the All Star team in Fall Ball together to "practice" more! Well, it turns out that only 4 girls from All Stars are on the team, the rest is girls who have never played before. So, it has not really been the learning experience that we wanted for her. But, she is loving it. Since she is one of the best players on the team, she is having a great time and making a lot of really good plays and just playing the best she ever has. She loves it right now!

The last time that I bought Keegan a pack of Pull Up's (because they are cooler than diapers;) ) I decided that was going to be the last pack that I was going to buy, so I also bought him 18 pairs of underware. Well, when I showed him the underware, he just wanted to play with them, he spread them all out, showed them to anyone who would look and took them from his room to the family room at least a hundred times!

However, potty training is not going as well as I would have hoped! He tells me that he needs to go potty, after he has already gone potty all over the floor or the chair or the bed, or what ever else he is standing or sitting on! Then I tried sitting him on the potty every 15 minutes, but he never goes on the potty, as soon as he gets off the potty, he goes, without fail! So we are working on every 30 minutes now, hoping to spread it out a little bit and make it happen. Because he has yet to go on the potty, I think that if he would do it once or twice, then he would get the hang of it, but for now, I am doing a load of laundry a day with bodily functions on it!

And now for the corn maze! It was so much fun, two of our favorite people came home and surprised us all! We were so happy to see Ty and Jen, Keegan loves them and loves to see pictures of them, so when they were really here, he was so excited! Ty, Jen Brenda, Jordan, Devin, Brenda's niece Bailey, me and my kids all went to the Corn Maze, it was so much fun! The kids got so dirty and to them, that was the best part!
They had this house that was just filled with dried Corn. The kids had a ball in it!

However, this is how they got so dirty, it was like powder all over them.

On Sunday after church we went for a ride up Cottonwood Canyon to see the Fall leaves.

And last but not least, yesterday, I was walking into the school to play PTA, and Corbins teacher was walking out to get the kids, she came over to me and said "I just love your son, you have the best kid." I said "Thank you so much" She said "I really mean it, he is a really good kid" I am so proud of Corbin and I told him that last night, he said, I am always on the quiet list and I am never bad! So, I hope he always keeps it up and that he is always on the quiet list, because listen to what he says on this video he made himself, hard to believe he is always on the quiet list!

  1. Potty training!!! I said the same thing about Sarah's diapers the last box I bought..."This is it!" and today I bought another bag. Not because we don't try to use the potty but she's the same as Keegan (six months older at least I think and the same behavior, great), she sits on the potty then gets up and wets on the carpet. Soooo, what to do? Nice to know I'm not the only one in this boat.
