Upon making the 'announcement' a few weeks ago that if I did not find a job, not only would really bad things happen to our family, but there would be no christmas, my village people have rallied around us and helped us out more than I could ever imagine.
Thanks to the person that always watches my kids for me. For always dropping everything that you have going on and helping. For letting all of us take advantage of you and for still loving us unconditionally. Thanks for letting me take over your money making adventure so that I can help my family stay out of deep water. These are just a few of the many things that this person does, I could never thank her enough for everything that she does for all the love and support and for being the best mom that there is out there and for being such a great example to me of what a mom should be.
Thanks to the village person that told me to make some pumpkins for Super Saturday and for helping me make a little bit of money with that! Thanks for all that you do for me and my kids.
Thanks to the village people who watched our kids this week while Riley went and got a new church calling. I can't say what it is until after Sunday when he is put in, but it is BIG for him! Thanks for letting our kids go hot tubbing and for loving my Keegan and reading to him, and for letting Chelsey go shopping in your pantry for her lunch the next day your the best!
To the village nurse who I finally convinced that Keegan needed to be seen by the Dr. He has been throwing up for 10 days now and still has a low grade fever, is tired/sleeping all day, and just not his normal happy self. Well, he has an ear infection. They are treating him with an antibiotic and hoping that clearing this up will stop the vomiting and also clear up the eye infection that just won't seem to go away. We're keeping our fingers crossed!
To the village friend that is looking out for me and trying to help me find a job! I appreciate your friendship and your kindness.
To the village person who told me that I could not go out and get a job! She told me that if I would stay home with my kids that she would pay me a thousand dollars. I told her "done" and asked where I sign. I'm still waiting for the paper work to be drawn up! But I still love her for her thoughtfulness! Thanks for always being concerned about me and my family.
And the biggest shout out goes to the village person who made me still believe in Santa. I love and appreciate you more than you will ever know. You have been an answer to my prayers and shown me the true spirit of Christmas.
There are so many people in my village that I love with all my heart. I am the luckiest person alive. I have a wonderful village that really supports me and I love you all for all that you do and for all your love and support. And to all the village people who are great examples to me and my kids, I love you all.
In my case, it definitely takes a village, and I am thankful for my village.
I sure love these cute kids!
You do have a wonderful village. I agree you are the luckiest person alive. I am in awe of your family, and I pray to be more like them and you. You are part of the village and you have been there for many, many people. I love and appreciate all that you do and continue to do for others all the time!
