Oh what Creepy fun we have!

I decided that I had better post all the fun things that we have been doing leading up to Halloween before Halloween is over.

Last Friday, our ward had a Halloween Party, it was a lot of fun!
My Kids are Crazy! Keegan taking a swing at the Pinata

Chelsey's Turn

And Corbin's turn, he got the last hit and sent the candy flying!

This kid is like 6'6 and was the intimidator! He held the Pinata and told the kids that they couldn't get the candy until he said

then he threw it all up in the air and yelled go, it was a mad dash for the candy!

The kids went Trick-or-Treating in some of the rooms

Corbin was the only one who wanted to eat a doughnut on a string, the doughnut won!

And Kaylix discovered the great hiding spot under the stage!

Then Saturday, we went Trunk-or-Treating at the West Jordan Veterans Park. It was fun. When we first got there, we didn't think that there would be that many cars to trunk-or-treat, but it ended up taking us over an hour to visit all the cars. It was a really nice day to, weather wise!

For Achievment Days, I had all the girls carve / decorate pumpkins and then I took them over to the Bennion/Taylorsville Heritage Center for the "Pumpkin Glow" Last year when we went there we not very many pumpkins, so I decided that it would be a fun thing to do to support our community. I took 12 pumpkins over, that doubled the amount that was there last year!!! When I went back to pick them up. . .

Chelsey had won second place. She was so proud. I was proud of her too! She carved this all by herself and was so proud that she had done it all and won. She won $5.00, that made it even better! She had the biggest grin all night! She was the only one that won out of all 12 I took!

Today, Chelsey had a Halloween program at school.

Oh, by the way, the really tall kid in the picture at the ward party, he is serving in the Elders Quorum Presidency with Riley. Thats right, Riley is the 2nd Counselor in Elders Quorum. I am very proud of him and excited for him to take on this new adventure!

Last night the Relief Society Presidency came by to visit me. We got talking about callings, I have 3 callings and Riley now has 3 too. The Bishopric told Riley that they were not going to release us from our Sunday School calling. I think that we might have to have a little Chat with the bishop and see why! That is a lot on our plate and especially when Riley works ALL the time and I have 4 kids to take care of all day every day. Sometimes callings can have their challenges, but why make it hard. Plus if you count Visiting and Home Teaching, we actually have 4 callings. Anyways we will see what happens!

Well, I am sure that I will have more to post after tomorrow, the kids have their parade and parties, it should be a fun filled day!
