Happy Turkey Day!

So I'm a little late! I was told at Thanksgiving that I need to update more often, so I am going to try and be better. I have been so tired lately, that as soon as the kids go to bed, so do I, so there has not been a lot of posting! But, I will try and rededicate myself to blogging!!!! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in St. George with Riley's family. It rained the first few days and the kids were all upset because you could see basketball and tennis courts out the window of the super nice condo we staid at! They wanted to play so bad! We headed out Tuesday night and came home Sunday, it was a nice get away and a nice visit with family!
There was so much to do and so little time! We helped Ty and Jen move a few things into their new apartment on Wednesday, and had a birthday party for Grandpa that night.
Thursday we ate till we couldn't eat any more, but then we went for dessert! Ty and Jen staid in Cedar City, so they joined us for Thanksgiving dinner and some of the festivities! It was a lot of fun to have them there and I was so glad that we were there for them to have Thanksgiving with family!
Friday finally cleared up, so we headed out to the courts:
(these are the only pictures I took the whole time we were there, I was bad!)

Thursday night, Bev and I headed to the Outlet malls that opened at 11:00, we were there until 2:00 am, went home slept for about an hour and then we were back up and at it Friday morning Christmas shopping is almost complete!

Friday, we shopped, hung out, napped! Then went to the Live Nativity at Tuachan. It is fantastic. As I was sitting there with my children, watching Keegan watching every little thing that was going on, I was suddenly overwhelmed by the spirit. So much so that I tried to fight back the tears, but had to shed a few. The thing that was keeping my children so enthraled, was the true meaning of Christmas. The thing that I need to focus on more around my house. I was thinking, I often tell my kids this time of year that Santa is watching. Then I thought, I should be telling them that Heavenly Father is watching, and that is something that I could say all year long. So, I am changing my Christmas threat, to a simple year round reminder!

Saturday, we went to Madagascar with Bev, Gary and Jen. Tyler took Riley flying, I was told, it was the 2nd worse flight that Tyler has had because of the weather. But they both did a great job, I'm so proud of both of them!

Sunday, we left it all behind and came back to a messy house and suitcases full of laundry.

Whats not to love about St. George! We were surrounded by family, we ate till we were stuffed, we went out on Black Friday and scored some deals, we went to a movie, we ate some more, we enjoyed each others company, the best!
