This and that!

We sort of started decorating for Christmas the Sunday that we got home from St. George, by Tuesday, it was all done! It took me a while because I had 2 little helpers that were moving things faster than I could put them out, then I would have to put them back and so the battle went back and forth! I have been really lucky though, neither Keegan or Kaylix have bothered the tree! Kaylix the other night tested it out, just to see what would happen, he tugged on an ornament, it fell, he brought it to me, and he hasn't touched it since!

I have a Velveteen Bunny Collection, I thought that I would put them around the bottom of the Christmas Tree to act like a little barrier between the tree and the kids. I asked Keegan to put them there for me, I kind of expected him to just through them around the floor, but he took them and placed each one around the tree skirt and thought good and hard about where he was going to put each one. I was so proud of him!

And as I said the other day, we were in a Christmas Boutique, it was so sad! There were not very many people there. We had all worked hard and made quite a few things, but no one came to see them. At 4:00, they said that about 200 people had been there, it opened at 8:00 that morning. So, we packed up and left, we decided it was not worth our time! So, if anyone is looking for lots of little girls hair bows, Chelsey and I made over 50 bows, and we sold 5! I have a lot of Christmas bows if anyone is interested!

Just a few samples!

We watched the First Presidency's Christmas Message Sunday night, it was wonderful!

This is how the kids watched it!

And this, well, this is what happens when my parents go to Disneyland, for the second time in about a month, and leave me home. . . again!

That's right, they get their mail box smashed!

I am proud to say that I am not the one who did it!

Here is a funny story! I was at my parents house doing some embroidery work, the kids had just got home from school and I was rounding them up to go home. The doorbell rang and it was the neighbor wanting to know what happened to the mailbox. I had no idea. So, I went to the other next door neighbors house and asked if they had seen or heard anything, but no! So, I called Riley and asked him what I should do, he was home, so he came over to help me pick it all up. I got thinking, I had heard a crash while I was working, but I looked around the house for something, but never looked outside. Then, I started playing detective! Because the way it had fallen into the street, I determined that it had been hit from the drive way. But I had been there all afternoon, and no one else had been there. Then I remembered that my mom's visiting teacher called and asked if she could come over around 2:30. Thinking back to what show was on, I figured that it had to have been about that time that I heard the crash. There was a little gift on the porch for my mom, so I determined that she had been there! So, I got brave and called her. She must have caller ID because as soon as she answered the phone, she said, I knocked over your mailbox. I was stunned! I asked her if she was ok and if her car was ok, she said there is just a small crease in her car, but she had to have hit it with some force to knock down bricks. I am still confused how she hit it, you have to be going on an angle out of the driveway to hit it, but some how she managed! I called my mom and told her that her visiting teacher had knocked over her mail box, and she couldn't believe it either!

That'll teach em to leave town!
